Practice Manager

Melinda

Melinda has been here at WPVC since August 2012, but has been in veterinary practice management for over 20 years. She is also a registered nurse in the state of Colorado. She has been married for over 30 years and has two sons. She enjoys cooking for her family and traveling in her spare time. 

Front Office Staff

Shannon

Shannon has been part of our team since 2002 as both a receptionist and technician. Shannon assists the practice manager and manages the front end of the practice. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, Lana and Roman(named after WWE wrestler Roman Reigns). She also has two cats, Chuy and Polanco. She enjoys watching baseball and attending games in her free time, as well as a fun romp at the dog park.

Amanda
Amanda joined our team in 2020. Amanda has 2 dogs, Raffi and Daisy. She enjoys spending her free time hanging with her pups and fiance, as well as binge watching shows on Netflix. She spends her weekends in Evergreen exploring the great outdoors. She spends her free time crafting with her sisters and loves collecting dried flowers. She has had the opportunity to foster many dogs, including the pup in her picture Ollie. She has plans to pursue schooling to become a technician in the next year. 

Karina
Karina joined our team in 2020. She has 4 dogs she spends her time with. She fancies herself a green thumb and enjoys taking care of her numerous plants. She enjoys collecting wet specimens and other oddities. She binge watched The Walking Dead series and was able to visit the set. She enjoys the Marvel brand and has gone to ComiCon conventions as well. Her dream is to own a farm one day with cows, donkeys, etc. 

Technical Staff

Megan

Megan joined our team in 2017. Originally from Pennsylvania, like most Pittsburgh natives, she is a fan of the Penguins, Steelers and Pirates. Since moving to Colorado, she has learned how to ski, which now takes up most of her free time during the winter months. She recently rescued a mixed-breed dog named Tallulah who she hopes to go on many Backcountry skiing adventures with. Megan also enjoys mountain biking, hiking, swimming and is open to most outdoor adventures. Frequent trips back home to visit family and friends is also a must. Megan is looking forward to meeting all of our clients and their pets.
