Heather, CVT

Heather joined our team in 2017. Heather began her career by volunteering at Foothills Animal Shelter when she was 15. Since then, she has adopted and enjoyed caring for a variety of animals including reptiles, birds and fish. Her favorite childhood hobbies were racing homing pigeons and riding horses.
Heather first studied biology at Metro University of Denver and then completed her Veterinary Technician Associate of Science degree through Penn Foster College in 2014, later passing her VTNE exam and becoming state certified. She specializes in feline behavior and highly enjoys helping with fearful and fractious cats.
When she is not working, she is very active supporting local musicians and artists. She loves hiking and camping with her Corgi-mix, as well as playing with her 2 cats at home.

Megan

Megan joined our team in 2017. Originally from Pennsylvania, like most Pittsburgh natives, she is a fan of the Penguins, Steelers and Pirates. Since moving to Colorado, she has learned how to ski, which now takes up most of her free time during the winter months. She recently rescued a mixed-breed dog named Tallulah who she hopes to go on many Backcountry skiing adventures with. Megan also enjoys mountain biking, hiking, swimming and is open to most outdoor adventures. Frequent trips back home to visit family and friends is also a must. Megan is looking forward to meeting all of our clients and their pets.
